Special Zentangle® Session: Tangled Monograms

December 15, 2020: Words can not describe how much fun this class was – Only letters can – hahahaha!

This is a definite “had to be there” class! No matter how good (or otherwise) your handwriting is, you can have fun with this! First we drew our string framework:

This is Zentangle Inspired Art (ZIA) at its finest! It also exemplifies the Zentangle® philosophy of “There is no such thing as a mistake in Zentangle” and string theory. We tried not to think to much about it when creating the framework, knowing that there are many ways we can work with things we may not like so much. “Course Corrections”, I call them – just like in life.

Hope you are sitting down for this reveal! You will be enamored with how these tanglers created amazingly beautiful work from their frameworks.

Next we added tangles and color and whatever else struck us creatively to bring this monogram to life! You can use any tangle you wish, but click HERE for a list of tangles that work great!

Ready??? I am still in awe!!

Whoa! Right?!?!?! Here are some close-ups from those that have sent in pictures. I’ll keep adding as I receive them, so check back periodically!

Thanks to everyone that joined in on the fun!!! Also, for those that have supported these free classes directly or by purchasing Zentangle products from my store, THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
