Tangle-firmation Art | Class Recap

I have seen this concept done in many different ways, sometimes being called “Found Poetry”. I decided to put an affirmation spin on it – or just to highlight words that jump out at you. It’s just amazing what happens when we try not to thing toooo hard and just do.

To everyone that participated. THANK YOU for opening up yourself and sharing a bit more of yourself. As I sat, read and really took in everything you put on the page. I was overwhelmed with emotion with each one. THANK YOU! Make sure to frame it!

The replays of these sessions are available to Tangle Addicts Club members and those that paid for the class individually. Click HERE if you would like to purchase the replays or contact me (Heather@tangleaddicts.com)/

Amazing Spider | ‘Tough’ Tangle Tuesday Recap

On these ‘Tough’ Tangle Tuesday sessions we focused on Hennie Brouwer’s, Amazing Spider tangle.

While most of had a tangle-over afterwards, I believe most felt the achievement, and felt pretty good about stretching the limits of focus.

Click HERE for my version of the step-out and over THERE for CZT Alyssa Hergets step-out which helped a lot!! Click HERE for more inspiration from Hennie and HERE for her step-out..

If you haven’t yet attended a ‘Tough’ Tangle Tuesday Session, we’d love to have you join! They are not for the faint of hand. HAHAHA! The purpose is to dig into a tangle that is a little more complex than the average tangle. It could be more steps, or high concentration – either way, we have fun stretching as we play with the ‘Tough’ Tangles.

Speaking of that, look at all the wonderful work and the variety of creativity from our sessions. AMAZING work!!! Videos are at the bottom – If you didn’t join us, I hope that you’ll give it a try!!!

Zenbossing – Zentangle Technique | Class Recap

Zenbossing is an amazing technique were we create the illusion of embossing. If you don’t know what that is, embossing is the practice of creating a raised design or text on the surface of paper or other material. (Debossing is the opposite. We haven’t devoted a class to it, but shared the idea some time ago – was probably from a Zentangle Project Pack.)

In my research, all roads seem to lead to CZT Anica Gabrovec, Zen-linea, as either the creator/namer of this technique or close to it as her work on Zenbossing is extraordinary!  I take pride in doing my absolute best to give credit where credit is do. Please contact me if I am incorrect.

Shamrukus | Tangle Time Recap

Our new friend and fellow CZT, Barbara Langston created a really neat Shamrock inspired tangleation.(Ok, it’s really a 4 leaf clover, but you can make it a shamrock. LOL) This was inspired by the tangle, Abukus by CZT Charlotte Carpentier, which is a tangleation of Arukus by Zentangle®.

Thanks to Sandy Vaughan, the Irish Tangler, who followed along with Barbara’s Video and posted her amazing work on our Tangle Addicts Facebook Group. With Barbara’s permission, we featured Shamrukus on our Tangle Time sessions. It was a wonderful finale to our #7DaysToStPaddysDay tangles.
